Originating from San Luis Obispo, California, Brian J. Weiss began his foray into the world of computers in 1996, while he was still navigating through high school. After high school, he gained practical experience at a locally-owned computer shop, simultaneously furthering his studies in college with a focus on computer and network services. After a period of reflection, Brian decided to pivot from academic pursuits to entrepreneurial ventures, laying the groundwork for his own IT firm. He initially offered his expertise as an independent contractor, which paved the way for the inception of ITECH Solutions in 2005.

Embracing a Microsoft-centric philosophy, Brian now dedicates his expertise to the creation of a Dynamics 365 ERP system, meticulously engineered for Managed Service Providers and enterprise IT divisions. His efforts are intensively directed towards the incorporation of generative artificial intelligence, ensuring alignment with the continual progression of AI technology.

Michelle manages finances and HR for ITECH Solutions. A much needed addition to ITECH Solutions where she previously was a stay at home mom for 9 years helping raise Brian and Michelle’s daughter Brielle. She has joined ITECH Solutions to become an essential part of the management team to help with growth and finances. She enjoys spending time in the outdoors riding bikes and camping, along with painting and crafting with her daughter Brielle.

James is a dedicated leader with over 15 years of hands-on IT experience. Since joining ITECH Solutions in 2012, he has advanced from Helpdesk Technician to Service Delivery Manager in 2020. In his current role, James oversees the entire service delivery team, ensuring clients receive timely, high-quality support that meets ITECH’s top-tier standards. His leadership combines technical expertise with a commitment to operational excellence, driving efficiency and client satisfaction across all service touchpoints.

Outside of work, James’s passion for planning and creating shines through in his hobbies. He enjoys building custom furniture, exploring new skills like sewing, and maintaining a disciplined fitness routine through bodybuilding. A talented musician, James has played guitar since 2019 and has mastered acoustic, electric, classical, and fingerstyle techniques. For relaxation, he dives into gaming—favoring titles like Uncharted and Mass Effect—and enjoys retro and tabletop games. Most importantly, James values time with family, friends, and his beloved dogs, balancing his professional drive with meaningful personal connections.

Crew is a native of San Luis Obispo, California, with a strong passion for technology and gaming that began in his youth. At the age of 15, he built his first PC, sparking a lifelong interest in the IT field. Crew pursued higher education in Oregon before returning to the Central Coast, where he founded and successfully scaled a contracting business with the USPS over more than five years. In parallel, he gained hands-on experience as a machinist for a local medical packaging company.

Crew is driven by a desire to deepen his expertise in IT and is committed to advancing his knowledge through formal education and online courses. Outside of his professional pursuits, he enjoys golfing, snowboarding, and online gaming, balancing his technical passions with his love for outdoor activities.

Lionel brings over 15 years of experience in MSP environments, supporting businesses with secure, reliable, and easy-to-manage IT systems. Over the years, he has built a reputation for solving complex issues while keeping communication clear and solutions practical.

As a self-taught IT professional, Leonel enjoys digging into new challenges and sharing what he learns with others. He spends his free time experimenting in his homelab, exploring the outdoors in his Land Cruiser, and photographing landscapes. His dog, Alaska, is often his travel companion on long overland trips.

Lionel looks forward to bringing his curiosity, problem-solving skills, and collaborative mindset to ITECH, helping clients and teammates alike achieve success through technology.

Zamir Olivas

Zamir Olivas has over 12 years experience with information technology working in both the private and public sectors. He has gained knowledge across many different systems working with multiple Managed Service Providers in the past, bringing a ton of experience to the team.

In Zamir’s spare time he loves to curate music play guitar and produce Electronic/Hip-Hop tracks. He has been playing guitar since he was a young child and during his career found that music production and IT have a very similar environment and complement each other well.

Steve Wilson
Systems Administrator | TAM

Steve, in the last 20 years, has worked for 3 different Internet Service Providers, becoming a network and security engineer. With that experience, he found a home at a local Federal Bank as their Network Administrator and Security Officer. Born and raised in San Luis Obispo, CA, he graduated from San Luis Obispo School. He has three sons, whom he cannot beat at video games anymore.

Matthew Lackie

Matt worked in IT support at the Women’s Shelter Program in San Luis Obispo for over 15 years and helped setup, maintain, and troubleshoot computers. He once ran a private business that offered services for remote and onsite troubleshooting, computer repair, and virus/malware removal. Matt enjoys all things music related, playing guitar, and learning new songs. He loves hanging out with his kids and keeping them busy, as well as Barbequing with his friends.

Dylan Feller

Dylan was born in San Luis Obispo and has lived in multiple cities up and down the Central Coast. He has been interested in computers ever since his family got their first PC when he was young. His first job was doing part replacements for Dell, and he has over 10 years of experience in IT Support and has worked for several local businesses. He also participated in a 3-month Cybersecurity program through Fullstack Academy before getting his CompTIA Security+ certification. Dylan’s hobbies include PC gaming and woodworking, which led him to spending 6 months in Michigan building guitars to become a Certified Luthier.
